In your phpmyadmin, Please check the Variables in your database, In that\u00a0increase the size of “max_allowed_packet” variable from 1,048,576 to 32,048,576<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Then, You can start the installation of YMME Professional extension.<\/p>\n

Installation Steps for Year Make Model Engine Professional Extension<\/span><\/h2>\n

1. Take a backup of the Magento files before replacing<\/p>\n

2. Extract the files, inside \u201cYMM_Professional_Updated\u201d folder<\/p>\n

3. Magento Installation Root Magento_App_Root folder is same as your Magento Installation directory<\/p>\n

4. Folder structure for default theme \\Magento_App_Root\\app\\design\\frontend\\default\\<default>\\template Where <default> folder is based on default theme. Please copy the template folder into your specific theme folder<\/p>\n

Note:<\/b>
\nFor Magento 1.3.x, the template folder structure is Magento_App_Root\/app\/design\/frontend\/default\/default\/template\/catalog\/product<\/p>\n

For Magento 1.4.x, 1.5.x, 1.6.x, 1.7.x, 1.8.x, 1.9.x and 2.0.x the template folder structure would be Magento_App_Root\/app\/design\/frontend\/base\/default\/template\/catalog\/product<\/p>\n

Steps to be followed in admin panel to setup attributes<\/b><\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/b>\u00a0Create Attribute Catalog -> Attributes -> Manage Attribute<\/p>\n

Similarly Create attributes make, v_model, engine.<\/b><\/p>\n

Please make a note of the Attribute Code. It should be (year,make,v_model,engine)<\/b><\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/b>\u00a0Create Attribute Set<\/p>\n

Catalog -> Attributes -> Manage AttributeSet<\/p>\n

Click the button Add New under Groups

A group will be created at the end you can drag and drop to your respective location.<\/p>\n

You can find a new tab YearMakeModelEngine added. Fill in all the required details and assign the product to a category.(Follow the require steps to add products in order to make the product display in client panel).<\/p>\n

CMS -> Manage Pages -> Add New Page<\/p>\n
