Custom Stock Status is an easy and powerful Magento Extension for your Online store. Highlight the stock availability with Labels to get noticed by the customers. It makes the customers to know the availability of stock and order soon.It also shows the customer how fast the product is sold out.<\/div>\n

Installation Steps for Custom Stock Status Extension<\/span><\/h2>\n

1. Take a backup of the Magento files before replacing<\/p>\n

2.Extract the files inside Magento Installation Root Magento_App_Root folder is same as your Magento Installation directory<\/p>\n

Note: Folder structure for default theme \\Magento_App_Root\\app\\design\\frontend\\default\\<default>\\template Where <default> folder is based on default theme. Please copy the template folder into your specific theme folder<\/p>\n

3. Refresh \u0421ache: Log into Magento Admin Panel and go to System \u2192 Cache Management\u2192Select all \u2192 Select Refresh\u2192Submit<\/p>\n

4. Re-login: Log out and back into Magento Admin Panel.<\/p>\n

5. Enable extension.<\/p>\n

a)Go to System \u2192 Configuration. In the left column you will see the new tab,Kamtech\u2192Custom Stock Status<\/p>\n

b) Enable extension for the whole website or selected store.<\/p>\n

Now extension is installed and enabled.<\/p>\n

How To Create A New Label<\/span><\/h2>\n

Navigate to Catalog\u2192Custom Stock Status where you can see the grid of the existing labels and option to create new one.<\/p>\n

From the list of existing labels you can select the label that you want to edit To Add a new Label ,Click Add New Item.<\/p>\n

To show the label in front end Select the \u201cStatus\u201d option as \u201cenable\u201d and select label type to \u201ctext or image.\u201d Click on to the Label Information to add text and images.<\/p>\n

And click save to save the label<\/p>\n

To Upload our Own Label Image<\/span><\/h2>\n

Select the type Option to be “Image”, for only image to appear in the frontend.<\/p>\n

Browse the file and upload it.You can find the “Sample Images” are added in the Package.<\/p>\n

How To Edit the Labels:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Click on the existing label that you already created as shown in the following screen appears<\/p>\n

Finally save your Item after Editing.<\/p>\n

How To add custom stock status labels to your Products:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Catalog\u2192Manage products\u2192edit the product for which you would like to add the labels. The product information screen appears.<\/p>\n

Click on the General tab and select the label from the custom Stock Status listbox.Save it.<\/p>\n

For the Configurable Products,It is enough to add the labels for the simple configurable products.<\/p>\n

Steps to Uninstall the Custom Stock Status Extension<\/h2>\n

Please follow the instructions below to uninstall Custom Stock Status extension and remove from your website.
\nStep 1:<\/strong> Go to the location app\/etc\/modules\/Kamtech_Stockupdater.xml<\/strong> and Kamtech_Stock.xml<\/strong> file
\nFind the line of code true<\/active><\/strong>
\nand change it to
\nfalse<\/active><\/strong>
\nRefresh the Cache in admin panel->System->Cache Management<\/strong>
\nstep 2:<\/strong>Roll back the original list.phtml file which is used previously before install this extension in the following location.This path vary as per the web site theme\/template used.
\napp\/design\/frontend\/base\/default\/template\/catalog\/product\/<\/strong>
\nsimilarly roll back default.phtml,configural.phtml<\/strong> files in the following locations app\/design\/frontend\/base\/default\/template\/catalog\/product\/view\/type

\nIf there is Theme template folder then please follow this location
